De Koeneschans, een bescheiden schiereilandje in de Vlist, maakte deel uit van de haastig aangelegde verdedigingslinie om de machtige provincie Holland te beschermen tegen de binnenvallende Franse troepen. De virtual reality-beleving maakt het vanaf nu mogelijk dit unieke culturele erfgoed opnieuw te beleven.
