Bekijk streetview in virtual reality met Google Cardboard

Het is nu mogelijk om Street View van Google te gebruiken in virtual reality.

Je hoeft nu echt de deur niet meer uit om de verste plekken te beleven. Met Google Maps en Google Cardboard bezoek je allerlei plekken in virtual reality. Googles goedkope virtual reality-oplossing Google Cardboard en een Android-toestel zijn de enige dingen die je nodig hebt.

Street View

Als je een Android-telefoon (het werkt niet met iPhone) gebruikt en de Google Maps-app opent, schakel je naar Street View. Tik vervolgens twee keer op de ronde knop met twee pijltjes rechtsonder in beeld en het beeld wordt in tweeën gesplitst. Als je het toestel nu in Google Cardboard plaatst, kun je in 360 graden om je heen kijken.

Easter egg

Niet alleen kun je met deze easter egg verre landen bezoeken, ook kun je bijvoorbeeld een kijkje nemen in bepaalde gebouwen of op filmsets. Eerder deze maand maakte Google bekend dat al 500 duizend gebruikers een Google Cardboard in handen hebben.
